About Our Therapists

Allison Deckman, LMT

I have been on a path of healing for 11 years. I received my license in 2012. Over the years I have worked at several establishments all while building my own practice on the side. During that time, I also acquired certifications in Quantum Touch Level 1 and Reiki Levels 1 & 2. I incorporate energy healing into every massage and love to focus on relaxation and therapeutic aspects of massage. I strive for each massage to be an experience tailored to the specific needs of the individual I am working with. This is far from work for me. I truly love connecting with others and providing them relief from not only the physical but the emotional tolls we experience.

I am so grateful my path in life has led me to the healing and nurturing of others. It comes extremely easy to me. I love people. I love their humanness and I appreciate that I have the opportunity to come across so many wonderful souls, which allows me to give them a place to quiet their minds and rest their bodies. Bodies that do so much for us every single day.

Karen Whitfield, LMT

I graduated from Lincoln Tech, and have been a licensed and nationally certified massage therapist since 2006. Over those years I have worked in both a chiropractor's office and a day spa. My focus is relieving the body of tension and pain while creating a safe and nurturing environment. My treatment style is fluid, grounding, and calming. I love tailoring each massage session, incorporating a blend of modalities such as Swedish, Deep tissue, Hot stone, Cupping, and Theragun therapy. I am also certified in prenatal and lomi lomi (Hawaiian Massage). I am grateful and proud to be a part of this restorative wellness team.

Our Philosophy

At Restorative Wellness, LLC the focus is on self-care. Self-care means taking the time to do things that help you live well and improve both your physical health and mental health. When it comes to your mental health, self-care can help you manage stress, lower your risk of illness, and increase your energy.

Massage is a form of healing and relaxation that has been around for centuries. Massage Therapy is a profession in which the practitioner applies manual techniques, using hands or body, with the intention of positively affecting the health and well-being of the client. Massage therapy also gives you an opportunity to find that quiet place that exists within yourself to calm your body and allow a time out from the demands of the world. Ultimately, you leave feeling restored mind, body, and soul; with a greater sense of peace.
